Ambassador’s Message 26 May

I am delighted to inform you that there will be a celebration of Bloomsday in Seoul, thanks to the efforts of the Irish Association of Korea and, through the Embassy, the support of the Government of Ireland. The evening will be a convivial mix of drama, readings and music. The details are set out below.

As you know, the celebration of the Bloomsday is a world-wide phenomenon which reflects the admiration and love for Joycean literature, specifically the greatest novel yet written, Ulysses and its everyman hero Leopold Bloom.

I hope that you can join us for this Bloomsday celebration. In the event you are unable to come, perhaps you might share this notice with friends and family.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Best wishes,

Eamonn
